About Us. About IEC&SF.

More then just a festival...

Welcome to the Indie European Cinema & Screenplay Festival...

We are proud to celebrate the art of storytelling through the lens of cinema, bringing together filmmakers, screenwriters, and audiences from across Europe to honor the power of visual narratives. Since 2012, our festival has showcased the most innovative and thought-provoking films and screenplays, fostering creativity and collaboration in the world of cinema. Each year, we continue to create a platform that highlights emerging voices and established talents, promoting a shared passion for storytelling across the continent.

The Indie European Cinema & Screenplay Festival is a key initiative of Ardélion, a renowned organization dedicated to supporting and promoting cinematic talent. We strive to create a vibrant platform for emerging and established filmmakers and screenwriters, offering them the opportunity to present their work to a broader audience and gain recognition in the global industry.

Join us as we explore the rich tapestry of European and international cinema and celebrate the visionaries who shape the future of storytelling.

A festival through all of Europe...

The Indie European Cinema & Screenplay Festival is proudly headquartered in Croatia, Zagreb. This dynamic location serves as the central hub for our creative endeavors, where we curate, organize, and coordinate the festival's ongoing mission to celebrate cinema and storytelling.

In keeping with the spirit of the Ardélion tradition, the IEC&SF takes its events on a captivating journey across Europe with each new edition. True to our name, the festival travels to various cities and regions, offering a unique opportunity for local audiences to experience world-class films and screenplays.

This mobility is at the core of our vision, ensuring that the rich diversity of European cinema is accessible to communities far and wide, while fostering a deeper connection between filmmakers, audiences, and the wider cinematic landscape.
